Happy Veterans day to all who served and continue to serve. 🇺🇸 Thank you for all the sacrifices that you've done.
Specially to my husband, thank you for what you do. I know I may not say it often enough but, I am proud of you.
Proud of how committed you are to your job in the army, how passionate you are about helping others, how selfless you are and how dedicated you are to your career as a soldier.
I am happy for all the good times you've had being overseas despite the darkness that circled around.
I' know you've lost many brothers along the way, some due to sickness, others via accidents and a couple to suicide. I know that each loss has been heavy on your heart.
I also know that you've made more brothers along the years and that no matter the distance, the days, the years that may pass after each deployment without seeing each other, all of y'all are connected in ways no other human would understand.
I admire your resilience, your way of navigating life living in both worlds specially being in the Guard.
I could keep going on and on and on & yes even though you may think I hate you being in the army.
Nah, I don't. If not trust me you wouldn't off reenlisted Haha & If you don't remember it was actually that uniform that did the job for me to start dating you after you picked me up from the airport. 😉
Little did I know that it would be my blessing and my cursed lol. That fucking deployment sucked for me and nah I didn't know what I was signing up for marrying a military guy. Hehe but, one thing I do know I wouldn't want it any other way. I'm going to be cheesy now but, yeah our love is definitely #armystrong right? Lol Unless there comes another fucking NTC rotation or freaking 2 week/months long training coming up then Houston we got a problem. Haha
